On reading and friendship.

I’m a mod of the monthly book reads. I love my group, although it hasn’t been a replacement for the old one I had that met in person which was a bunch of my friends and I. But I found that these two past books of the months have been less than stellar for reading. I just haven’t been able to get into them. So I’ve just been the mod mainly for the books without being an active participant in the discussions. Having the ebook online is different from in person, mostly because discussion doesn’t stray from the books much to a more personal level. Although I know I’m making headway on the personal relationships more, just not in person. I resorted to answering community ads for friendship on kijiji. We’ll see how that goes. At times, I’m not sure if I want to open up a can of worms and make friends. Sometimes I feel like I deal with enough dramas and picnickers from my families, the ones far and close.

I just want to move already so I can start volunteering and putting myself out there. And I can start cooking. I can’t wait till I start cooking. I miss making things on my own. I need to start hunting spices and chiles down. But for the moment, I’ll just stick to my ebook club. Feel free to join us!
